We believe that justice should be local and empowering human rights defenders and lawyers in
respective countries is essential to strengthening the rule of law, accountability and building up a
society where human rights are respected and upheld.
We have trained human rights defenders, lawyers and activists on documentation of human rights
violation for criminal courts and international and regional bodies, survival centered interviews,
drafting of advocacy reports, preparing litigation documents and affidavits as well as drafing of
laws and guidelines.
